In the past, Hua Takhe Market was a floating market. where villagers are rowing boats to sell things bustlingly but at present The atmosphere was rather sluggish. There are only a few shops along the waterfront. This may be the result of a fire in 1998 in the waterfront market area. Therefore, the floating market gradually disappears.
but at present The Ladkrabang District Office is taking the initiative to restore the waterfront culture of Hua Takhe. by organizing the program waterfront market tour and visit the way of life of the people in Hua Takhe community.
